This video provides the balanced molecular equation and the net ionic equation of the reaction between NaHCO3 and HC2H3O2 - Sodium Bicarbonate and Acetic Acid - vinegar.. The products for this reaction are NaC2H3O2 - sodium acetate, H2O, and CO2. Carbonic Acid - H2CO3 - is the intermediate for this reaction which immediately decomposes into H2O and CO2. The reaction mechanism for the decomposition of H2CO3 into H2O and CO2 is also discussed in this video as well.
